In our Senior Design class, each year we break into groups to create proposals for the Cats in the Community Project, in cooperation with Ben's Bells, and many other local sponsors. In the fall semester of 2012, my group's proposal was selected, and we were responsible for putting our proposal into production. In early March 2013, over 400 volunteers from the community showed up for us to lead in an "Extreme Home Makeover" style rennovation using our plans and prepared materials.
